Accommodation:
Desert Group owns several labour accommodations in Al Quoz area. Our accommodations have received several awards for being recognized as best standards for labour facilities by the Dubai government. All of our facilities are nicely landscaped to give employees a relaxed environment. One of the accommodations also has a swimming pool for the labour staff to experience and enjoy one of the products DG constructs. Our supervisory and mid management staff enjoy fully furnished and maintained apartments at International City.
Private Medical Insurance
Private medical insurance is provided for all employees of Desert Group. Family status benefits is allocated for some positions, but employees may add family members at their expense, if it is not part of their standard package. Our current insurance broker is Arab Orient Insurance.
Group Life and Personal Accident Insurance
Desert Group employees are issued a Group Life and Personal Accident Insurance Policy. The policy covers all employees up to the age of 64 if injured on the job due to an accident. Life insurance is for all employees. Maximum rates for life insurance are calculated by multiplying the total salary by 24 but the maximum benefit payout amount is 1,050,000 dirham and minimum is 50,000 dirham.
Dental Insurance
Routine dental insurance is based upon the position and benefits category. Emergency dental care due to an accident is covered for all employees.
Optical Insurance
Optical coverage is based upon the position and benefits category.
Desert Group Clinics
Desert Group also maintains four health clinics. Employees can access first aid and acute medical care services free of charge. Our nurses also conduct quarterly health seminars for employees to raise awareness on health and wellness. We also partner with the Dubai Government agencies and medical doctors to conduct wellness seminars and perform medical checks for employees.
Landscape and Leisure products
Employees also enjoy great discounts on furniture, plants, and gardening equipment from the Dubai Garden Centre.
Desert Group Company Boat
Employees may enjoy sailing the coastline of Dubai on the company boat for business or personal use. The company boat is operated by qualified navigators complying with all safety regulations.

Golf enthusiast can enjoy accessing many of the premier golf course resorts through our various golf memberships as great rates.

Desert Group training sessions operate from its company facilities or at suitable external venues that offers the perfect learning environment. Employees participate in various classes to assist with attaining the company goals. The Technical Training Centre offers training sessions for masonry, carpentry, pipefitting, electrical, health and safety and various landscaping courses.
